Members of The PWOA
All
persons who register with the PWOA to perform wedding ceremonies must be legally qualified to officiate at such
ceremonies in the state where the ceremony takes place. This means that each officiate must be licensed or ordained by his
or her church or denomination or, in the case of civil servants, recognized by the State or province as qualified to perform
wedding ceremonies
Represent each
client fairly and honestly, providing all agreed-to services in a timely and cost-efficient manner
Establish reasonable
and proper fees for services and provide written estimates to each client
Use honest, factual
advertising
Operate
a business that is a credit to the Association and the community
If a dispute arises,
it will be settled professionally and promptly.
Will stay in constant
communication with their clients.
Will
always treat the Bride, Groom, Families, Guests and all Wedding Vendors with respect.
Will
recognize that it is incumbent upon them to hold all Officiants in esteem and respectful regard, and to use all rightful means
to protect the personal and professional honor of all other Ministers / Clergy or Officiants
